| | The AT Museum is proud to present Rue McKenrick on Sunday, May 15th at 2pm. The event will be held outside on the lawn of the AT Museum. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on for the event. Parking is at the small lot next to the General Store or at one of the Furnace Stack Day Use Area lots. Rue McKenrick is a professional backpacker, triple crowner, and originator of the American Perimeter Trail Conference. Rue will speak about his experiences on the AT, his career in long-distance backpacking, and his passion for conservation and protecting our natural resources. The program will last for an hour and will include time for Q&A. Rue will lead a hike directly after the Q&A so that you can continue to pick his brain on all things backpacking and conservation! |
