We want to hear the story of your hike on the A.T. Why are you out here and what’s it been like? Has it been worth it? Have you changed? What do you want people to know about your trail experience? Sharing your story can have a big impact on others. So we hope you will be willing to take no more than five minutes to record yourself  on your phone. Nothing fancy. Honest and direct is best. You can also submit your story using audio only, if you choose.

It's REALLY easy to record and submit your video. We're using a program called Boast to receive videos.

The videos we receive and decide to post will be posted on a special YouTube channel established for this program. HERE is a link to this channel. 

Here are some general guidelines we ask you to follow.

• What is your Trail Name? You can also give us your real name if you choose, but, if you do, please stick to your FIRST NAME ONLY. What’s the story behind your trail name? 
• ​Where are you from? (Be general, as in name of state or foreign country ONLY.)

• What do you do in the other ("real") world?
• How would some of your trail friends describe you?
• Do you have any funny memories or stories to tell from your time out here?
• If you knew at the beginning what you know now, what might you have done differently?
• Describe some of the challenges and rewards you’ve experienced on the trail.
• Some people hike the trail seeking to heal a hurt in their lives. If that’s you, would you be willing to share your experience?
• What’s the biggest surprise you’ve discovered out here, either about the trail or yourself?
• What else do you want us to know about your trail experience?
