A.T. Museum featured on WITF Smart Talk Road Trip

  On August 8, WITF’s Smart Talk broadcast from the General Store along the Appalachian Trail at Pine Grove Furnace State Park.  Due to technical difficulties, the show aired on Wed., Aug. 10.

Host Scott Lamar discussed Pennsylvania trails, hiking, conservation and more with Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary, Cindy Adams Dunn .  Also appearing on the program were Joe Harold,
Manager of the A. T. Museum; Andre Weltman, local historian & Chairman of the Friends of Pine Grove Furnace State Park;
Nan “Drag’n Fly” Reisinger, the oldest woman A.T. thru-hiker and her hiking partner Carolyn “Freckles” Banjak.  A slideshow of pictures from the show appears below.

I think Scott said it would air Thru.

He did say that, but the production manager sent out the latest info. Things change.
