On Saturday, June 4th, 2016 (National Trails Day) the A.T. Museum is proud to celebrate the opening of its newest exhibit area. Our new Children's Area located on the lower level of the Old Grist Mill will feature an exhibit that shows all the states the trail travels through and includes interesting information about each state. The day starts with a ribbon cutting at 10:00 am for the new area and a Children's Festival follows, with wonderful events and activities for children of all ages (adults too). |
We will also have a Volunteer Cookout (past, present and aspiring volunteers) and will have our latest inductees to the Appalachian Trail Hall of Fame speak about their adventures and work on the A.T.
Tell your friends and come over for the day. The events runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
