2020 Pandemic Rules At The A.T. Museum​ and Ironmasters Hostel

Here is a summary of the rules we are following at the Museum during the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic:

  • Docents will use masks when on duty. All guests will be required to use masks (or other acceptable face coverings) and maintain social distance. 
  • No more than 10 guests will be allowed in the Museum at any one time, in order to maintain social distancing. We will also have visitors follow a one way clockwise pattern for viewing exhibits.
  • Certain interactive exhibits will be closed and visitors will be asked not to touch exhibits.
  • The computer areas, Childrens Museum, doorknobs, etc. will be cleaned with disinfectant each day. Bathrooms will be limited to volunteers.
  • Disinfectant will be available for guests to use.

Here is a summary of the rules we are following at the Ironmasters Hostel during the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic:
  • No more than 25 guests will be allowed in the IH at any one time.
  • In the Men's and Woman's dorms, there will be a limit of 6 people in each dorm, and they will be spread out to ensure social distancing. The limit will be 4 in The Attic.
  • During meals, we will spread out guests in the dining room, kitchen and board room to ensure social distancing.
  • The innkeeper and all volunteers will use masks and gloves when preparing food. They will use a mask when encountering others and also keep a safe distance from them.
  • All guests will be required to use masks (or other acceptable face coverings) and maintain adequate social distance.
  • The kitchen, bathrooms, tables, doorknobs and bunks that are used will be cleaned with disinfectant each day. Disinfectant will be available for guests to use.

These rules will remain in effect until further notice.
