The Appalachian Trail Hall of Fame Banquet

Each year, we honor outstanding legends of the A.T. at our Hall of Fame Banquet.  After a five year absence, our Banquet returned in 2025!!

The 2025 Appalachian Trail Hall of Fame Banquet was held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Bavarian Inn Resort & Brewing Company, located at 164 Shepherd Grade Road, Shepherdstown, WV.  The event began with interviews with the honorees and representatives at 10 am, a reception at 11 am, a luncheon at noon and then the Hall of Fame Induction. Later there was a panel discussion on 100 years of ATC and a screening of a movie on George Masa. We had a sold out crowd of 100.

Our 2025 Class is Richard B. Anderson of Camden, Maine; the late Walter Greene of New York City, New York, the late Marion Park of Washington, DC, and Ronald Tipton of Rockville, Maryland. Follow THIS LINK for more information on them.
