1989 Hurd Brook Shelter Register

Below are links to images of each page of a 1989 Shelter register obtained from the Hurd Brook Shelter at the northern end of the 100 mile wilderness just before entering Baxter State Park. The Register begins with an entry by Thru-hiker Alan "Gonzo!" Strackeljahn, who left the register on September 29, 1989 and ends on October 30, 1989. The register was left to allow hikers to inspire "I'm Mighty Thor" to return to the trail some day to finish the little bit that she missed.
