The A.T. Hall of Fame was developed by the Museum to honor persons who have made exceptional and positive contributions to the Appalachian Trail or the A.T. community. A class of honorees has been selected each year since 2011. Each year we solicit nominees from the general public. The Hall of Fame selection committee then goes through the nominations and selects the honorees for the year. They are honored at the Museum's Hall of Fame Banquet. Each honoree receives a custom made hiking stick, crafted for the Museum by A.T. thru-hiker John "Bodacious" Beaudet. An example is shown below.
We are accepting nominations now for the 2017 class. Follow THIS LINK to submit one online, or follow THIS LINK to print out a paper form for submission. The class will be announced in May. It will be honored at the 2017 A.T. Hall of Fame Banquet.
