How to Donate Items

As always, we are also looking for items of historical significance relating to the Appalachian Trail in virtually any respect (See examples below - after list of items needed to run the museum).

Now that the A.T. Museum had its Grand Opening on National Trails Day, June 5, 2010, we 'still have a wish list for people who may have items to donate to help the museum run more efficiently. We are generally looking for items in new or good condition.

We are in serious need of the following few items to augment our programming this summer:

1 folding card table
24 folding chairs
digital projector and portable screen

Items may be new or lightly used. Donations are tax deductible. For additional information or to donate, contact info@atmuseum.org.

Other items include:

Metal cabinets for storing the collections,

For the hiker lounge:
small soaps and shampoos for hikers at Pine Grove Furnace showers,
a bookshelf and paperback books for hikers to exchange,
games,
an outside table and chairs.

Children's area:
walking sticks,
backpacks,
pots and pans,
hiking and camping equipment,
hiker games,

and a wooden board with pegs to hang items on.
